Debdale Outdoor Centre Open day

Join us on the water for our open weekend at Debdale Outdoor Centre. Just £5.50 per session.

Sunday 12th of July will see sessions from 10:00-12:00 & 13:00-15:00.

Come and try a variety of water sports including Sailing, Windsurfing, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Kayaking & Dragon boating. The centre will be running boats rides throughout the day.

The Fire brigade will be with us showcasing an engine and out resident clubs Paddlers for Life & our Junior Activity Club will be there showing what they offer.

Paddlers for Life is a Dragon boat club & charity for cancer survivors, particularly breast cancer. It promotes exercise particularly through Dragon Boat Paddling. The physical activity and team support foster the wellbeing of those with experience of cancer.

Debdale Outdoor Activity Club is a community club who gives young people the chance to enjoy adventurous, water-based activities all year round – from sailing, kayaking, windsurfing & more.

What to bring!

Participants should bring a change of clothes, a towel & sun hat. Closed footwear is essential; some old trainers or water shoes will do. Wetsuits and Spray tops can be provided if required. Buoyancy aids are compulsory and will be supplied by the centre.

No need to book, just turn up and choose your activity and let our instructors do the rest.
