From junior beginners to Lancashire County Squash champion!
The National Squash Centre hosted the Lancashire Junior County Championships on Saturday 4th September. The tournament is the traditional season opener for juniors from across the county. Congratulations go to all the finalists, however, a special mention to Danny Bentley for winning his first squash tournament. Danny has progressed from the junior beginner squash sessions at the National Squash Centre to being Lancashire County Champion. Further good news, in the September 2021 England Squash national rankings Danny is no. 2 in the country in the under 9 category. Overall, our Manchester Squash programme players had a great day with four Lancashire County Champions and four County runners-up.
