Leatherhead Leisure Centre to Host Let’s Dance Event for International Women’s Day

Leatherhead Leisure Centre is proud to be taking part in Let’s Dance, a national campaign led by Angela Rippon CBE, designed to encourage people of all ages and abilities to experience the joy and health benefits of dance.

Taking place on Sunday 8 March, the event coincides with International Women’s Day and will see Leatherhead selected as one of just nine centres across the country chosen to support the campaign.

As part of the centre’s Open Day programme, participants are invited to join a Dance Fitness Master Class, created to be inclusive, accessible and enjoyable for everyone – whether you are new to dance or already take part in regular sessions.

To accommodate demand, both studios will be opened and a stage will be set up, creating a large-scale, event-style experience with space for up to 80 participants.

The Let’s Dance campaign, delivered in partnership with EMDUK, aims to remove barriers to physical activity and inspire more people to move through dance, highlighting its positive impact on both physical and mental wellbeing.
