Warm Spaces at Haydon Centre & Gym

As part of the response to this winter's cost of living crisis, the team at Haydon Centre & Gym are offering warm space sessions to anyone living in the area, particularily people who are struggling to heat their homes.

We will be offering tea, coffee, biscuits and free wifi in the reception foyer, as well as the use of warm showers. It is also a great opportunity to socialise with similar people and the fantastic staff at the centre.

We already know the barriers that people can face in the winter months and feeling isolated, so coming down and seeing a friendly face can certainly go a long way.

Harry Denton, our Fitness Instructor at Haydon, commented on the initaive:

'We want to do our bit in supporting the local community, especially in such challenging times for many and struggling to heat homes this winter.'

'Haydon is the perfect place to come and see a friendly face, whilst enjoying a tea or coffee in our seating area. Our wifi is also available, and you can even charge your phone or tablet, as well as have a lovely, hot shower within the changing facilities'.

Our warm spaces at Haydon is available during the following times:

• Monday's - 1pm-3pm
• Wednesday's - 1pm-3pm
• Friday's - 1pm-3pm

We hope that during these challenging times of increased costs and worries of heating homes, that people will take advantage of this opportunity, even just to pop in and say hello.
