Stringing For Wimbledon....

This year, Gosling tennis coach Fran Ruiz had the opportunity to join Apollo Leisure and Babolat to work alongside the top 20 stringers in the world at the Roehampton Wimbledon qualifying draw and then to serve the players in the Wimbledon main draw.

Stringing a high volume of rackets was not an easy task. It was a relentless job to keep up with player demand, especially with the need to continually maintain high attention to detail with every single re-string.

Fran had to pay particular attention to preparing rackets for players for them to train and compete with. The key role Fran fulfilled was to ensure that the specific requirements were met for each racket with regards to string tension and the method of stringing too.
