There will be a Temporary closure of the Swimming Pool to ensure the continued safe operation of our facilities. Essential repair work is required to replace a section of pipework serving the swimming pool.

The swimming pool will be temporarily closed from 10th August to 24th August 2026 whilst this important work is carried out. We appreciate that this may cause disappointment and inconvenience and we thank all our customers for their patience and understanding.

Please note

All other facilities and activities at Ulverston leisure centre will remain open and available as normal throughout this period unless otherwise stated.

Keeping you swimming

We are committed to supporting our customers during this temporary closure. The nearest available swimming pool is located at Kendal Leisure Centre where customers can continue to enjoy swimming facilities during this period.
