Better Club Games 2026 - Northern England

Better Club Games 2026 – Penrith Leisure Centre

Join us for a celebration of sport, community and active ageing.

The Better Club Games in Penrith Leisure Centre will bring together people aged 60+ from across our Partnerships in Northern England. We are looking to bring together as many members and non-members from Gateshead, Newcastle, York, Cumberland, Westmorland and Furness and Preston, in a day of friendly competition and community spirit.

You’ll be part of the national Better Club Games programme celebrating 20 years of active ageing across the UK.

Event details

Date: Wednesday 21st October
Time: Registration 10am, 10:30am Start and warm-up. 4pm Estimated Medal ceremony.
Venue: Penrith Leisure Centre
Address: Southend Road, Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 8JH
Price: £4.50 per person.

Activities available

You can take part in a range of activities including:
Quiz, Pickleball, Timed Cycle, Scrabble, Badminton, Dominos, New Age Kurling, Table Tennis, Walking Netball, Short Mat Bowls, Boccia.
