Technogym's Checkup Machine

Better Gym Mere Green has had a new piece of kit enter the centre! The Technogym Checkup machine has been added to give you data on every aspect of your health life, from testing your mobility to seeing how fast your brain moves, the new machine can do it all! All members need to use the machine is the technogym app, once that is downloaded and an account is made then members can then start to learn more about themselves!

The "Body" section on the machine is what people would see as a generic body stat machine, running electrodes through your limbs to give you a full in detail guide on whats going on inside your body!

The "Mobility" tile tests your neck, shoulders, hips and ankles for the range of movement they complete, this will then be tested against your peers to give you a mobility score out of 100.

Going down to "balance" will test each leg individually to get your balance score, standing on one leg and keeping the middle of your body steady will give you the best score possible!

Moving on to "Mind" will give you 3 short minigames that will test your brain speed, attention and your memory, this will then give you a score out of 100.

next up is "Cardio" where you will wear a polar heart rate monitor and get yourself on a treadmill to complete a Vo2 max test, using this the checkup machine will be able to give you a score.

Finally is strength, which is a simple grip strength test, the grip strength machine is attached to the checkup machine and can be done in seconds!
