Our latest Dusk Till Dawn 12‑Hour Relay was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment the first swimmers arrived to the final laps at sunrise, the event was filled with energy, teamwork, and a real sense of purpose all in support of Level Water, helping fund swimming lessons for children with disabilities.

This year, we welcomed just under 200 swimmers, forming an incredible 50 teams, including a determined staff team who took on the challenge with enthusiasm. That’s a huge leap from last year’s 35 teams and a clear sign of how much this event has grown within our community.

The fundraising effort was equally inspiring. We began the evening with £28,000 already donated, and as the night unfolded, swimmers, supporters, families, and local businesses continued to give generously. By the time the relay ended, the total had climbed to just under £40,000, with donations still coming in. That’s over £10,000 more than last year, and it reflects the incredible commitment our community has to making swimming accessible for every child.

The atmosphere throughout the night was boosted even further by the support of local businesses. A nearby pizza restaurant joined us on-site during the afternoon and at the start of the relay, serving fresh, hot food to swimmers and spectators. Demand was so high that they completely sold out by 8pm, adding to the buzz and creating a festival-like feel around the pool.

Behind the scenes, our staff worked tirelessly through the night organising teams, keeping spirits high, ensuring safety, and cheering on every swimmer who stepped up to the blocks. Their dedication helped make the event run smoothly from dusk all the way through to dawn.

We’re incredibly proud of everyone who took part, supported, donated, or volunteered. Tickets for next year’s Dusk Till Dawn Relay are already live, and after the success of this year, we’re excited to see how much bigger and brighter the event can become.

Here’s to another unforgettable night, and to the amazing community that makes it possible.
