Western Leisure Centre on Caerau Lane offers fitness and swimming in Ely. The gym has cardio machines and free weights for your workouts, while there's a 25-metre pool for lane swimming, a teaching pool and a family splash area. Classes include aqua fitness, group cycle, yoga, Pilates, HIIT, boxfit, circuits and strength conditioning. The sports hall and indoor courts are set up for badminton, basketball and pickleball. We run the Active Leisure Scheme, over-50s sessions and women-only classes. There are swimming lessons, children's programmes and party packages available. The cafe keeps you fuelled between sessions, and we partner with the NHS, local schools and Cardiff Council to support the community.
