National Sports Open Weekend - 18th and 19th July

Get Ready For The Team England National Sports Weekend at Dunston Leisure Centre

Save the date: 18th and 19th July 2026 

Come and join us in partnership with Team England at Dunston Leisure Centre for a weekend filled with free sports and fun family activities for everyone to enjoy.  

Ready to unleash your sporting spirit? Members and non-member can jump in and experience the excitement of Commonwealth Games-inspired sports and activities.

Whether you're trying something completely new or rediscovering a sport you love, there's plenty of fun waiting for all ages and abilities. 

Guests will also be able to tour the gym, learn about the latest equipment, and take advantage of exclusive membership offers available only during the event.

We hope the Open Weekend will encourage more people to become active, improve their wellbeing, and join a welcoming fitness community dedicated to helping members achieve lasting results

Sessions include:

Free Aqua Splash Saturday 3pm, Soft play and Table tennis also available 

Please bring the appropraite attire for the activity you wish to take part in. 

If you have any health conditions that you feel our team should be aware of, please inform the instructor or reception prior to starting your activity. 

Our poolside lockers are £0.20, available at reception or gym changing rooms require a small padlock. Vending machines and water coolers are available for use on site.
