Barnet Customers Learn Life-Saving Skills for Restart a Heart Day

On Friday 16th October, Barnet took part in the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) Restart a Heart Day initiative, delivering CPR and defibrillator awareness training sessions to customers.

Hosted by Claudio Cino, the sessions provided participants with an introduction to the essential skills involved in performing CPR and using a defibrillator, helping to build confidence and awareness of how to respond in a medical emergency.

A total of 12 customers took part across two training sessions, which were advertised across all Barnet Centres.

Everyone who completed the training received a certificate in recognition of their participation.

The sessions highlighted the importance of learning basic life-saving skills and the role that community awareness can play in helping to save lives. By offering this training, Barnet supported the aims of Restart a Heart Day, encouraging more people to learn CPR and understand how to use a defibrillator in an emergency.
