At Better, we aim to provide fun fitness and wellbeing activities for everyone. Due to high demand for women only sessions at Kentish Town Sports Centre we have a variety of activities available across the week for women to attend. This includes gym, swimming, swimming lessons & fitness classes.

At Kentish Town, we want to make swimming enjoyable and easy for all. That’s why we offer a range of ladies swim classes and pool sessions for women of all ages and abilities. Run for women, by women, our sessions are led by female swimming instructors and cater to girls and women of all abilities. With our ladies swimming sessions and classes, you can develop a healthy lifestyle while enjoying the social and mental benefits of swimming.

Adult Swimming Lessons are Better’s adult swimming programme for all your swimming needs. Whether you want to learn to swim, improve your technique, fitness or train for an event, our Swim Doctors will help make the most of your time in the pool in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. These lessons take place at 12:05 on Wednesday for Women only.

New Pre and Post Natal Classes

Pre and Post-Natal Body Conditioning classes are designed specifically for pregnant women or women with babies. Our instructors are qualified to ensure that you and the baby are able to enjoy fitness classes at a pace that suits you! 

Staying active during pregnancy and after childbirth is essential for both physical and mental well-being. Pre-natal exercise helps improve strength, flexibility, and endurance, preparing the body for labor while reducing common discomforts like back pain and swelling. It also supports a healthy pregnancy by promoting circulation and reducing the risk of gestational diabetes.

Post-natal exercise plays a crucial role in recovery, helping to restore core strength, improve posture, and boost energy levels. It can also aid in mental health by reducing stress and supporting emotional well-being during the postpartum period.

With safe, guided workouts tailored to each stage, women can feel stronger, more confident, and empowered throughout their motherhood journey.
