To celebrate Universal Children’s Day on Wednesday 20th of November we are encouraging children to bring a friend to Treetops for free so they can play, explore and have fun together.

Universal Children’s Day was set up by the United Nations in 1954 to raise awareness of children’s rights. That year was historic as it was when children’s right were legalised. According to the UN “The convention sets out a number of children’s rights such as the rights to be protected from violence and discrimination and the rights to life, health and education.” Through this annual occasion further progress could be documented with the ambition of improving child welfare across the world. Here at Talacre Community Centre we are pleased to get involved and we hope your children and their friends can join us on Wednesday for this little celebration.

If you have any questions you can ask in centre or by email to Daniel.Bank@GLL.ORG.
