Recreation Assistant (Lifeguard) - Fully Funded Training
Are you a strong swimmer, hard-working, vigilant, passionate, friendly and professional?
If you have all of these qualities then we have employment opportunities that might just be the challenge you are looking for. If you don’t have a current NLPQ qualification we can offer the training you need, you just need to be a strong swimmer and be able to complete a timed swim (Please bring your swim kit with you). Successful candidates will gain access to a fully-funded National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
Swimming Teachers - Fully Funded Training
Don't have the qualifications, don't worry, we will provide you with the necessary qualifications to become a swimming teacher.
We’re looking for Swimming Teachers who are approachable, with the friendly, patient nature needed to build people’s trust, motivate pupils and encourage with praise. Our model involves around team teaching, working together to get the most out of every pupil. Naturally being able to work effectively in a team is vital to ensure that lessons run as effectively as possible meeting the needs of all pupils. Successful candidates will gain access to a fully-funded STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming.
Concierge – In House Training
If you have the passion for people needed to deliver a first-class customer experience, this is your chance to chance to become the friendly face of a busy leisure centres. From providing team support to the warmest of welcomes, your focus will be on ensuring our customers receive the best possible service. Good IT, literacy, numerical and communication skills are vital for this customer service role – combined with the ability to quickly get up to speed on our services and systems.
If you have plenty of energy, ambition and expertise, this is your chance to help people to achieve their fitness potential. As a Fitness Instructor, part of your role is to inspire people to train independently and keep coming back. So, it all starts with an induction, for you to understand someone’s ability and ambitions – and ultimately, devise a bespoke programme that suits their needs. As a real people-person, this will come naturally as you quickly build people’s trust and confidence. Of course, you’ll also need knowledge of health and safety legislation and experience gained in a busy leisure/fitness centre and the following qualifications: NVQ level 2 Fitness Instructor and Emergency First Aid at Work.
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY
Registration will open at 10:00am. Candidates can expect to be with us for around 30-90 minutes depending on your chosen role. Once you have informed us of the role you wish to apply for the interview will be conducted. Don’t forget if you are interested in the Recreation Assistant (Lifeguard) role you will be required to complete a swim test also. Please ensure you bring your swim kit with you.
At the interview you will need to show that you have a right to work in the UK, therefore please bring with you your passport or original birth certificate and any visa (if appropriate) a copy will be taken and one other form of ID. Other paperwork will also be required on the day is National Insurance Number and a recent bank statement or utility bill within the last three months and any relevant qualifications.
If you are successful at the interview please allow time to stay and complete your on boarding documents.
