Discover Your Passion for Performing Arts at a Free Taster Day in Plumstead
Children and young people are invited to get creative, build confidence and discover new talents at a free Performing Arts Taster Day at The Plumstead Centre on Saturday 17 October.
Whether your child loves to dance, sing, act or play music, this exciting event offers the perfect opportunity to explore a range of performing arts activities in a fun, supportive and welcoming environment. Free taster sessions will be available in baby ballet, street dance, stage school, drama and music tuition, led by experienced and enthusiastic teachers.
What makes this event special is that children can book a place and try as many classes as they like throughout the day. They are encouraged to explore different activities, step outside their comfort zone and discover what inspires them most. From learning new dance moves and developing acting skills to finding their voice through singing or trying a musical instrument, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Performing arts can play an important role in a child’s development, helping to build confidence, creativity, communication skills and lasting friendships. The taster day is designed to give young people the chance to experience these benefits first-hand while having fun and meeting others with similar interests.
Families will also have the opportunity to meet the teaching team, find out more about the range of classes available at The Plumstead Centre and learn how children can continue their performing arts journey beyond the event.
