Clissold Leisure Centre offers a range of high-quality facilities available for schools, clubs, community organisations and private groups. Whether you are looking to deliver sports lessons, swimming sessions or group activities, our flexible spaces can accommodate a wide variety of needs.
Our experienced team can help organise sessions that support physical education, training programmes, sports development and group fitness activities.
We offer school swimming lessons designed to help pupils build confidence and develop essential water safety and swimming skills. Lessons are delivered by qualified instructors in a safe and supportive environment, helping schools meet the National Curriculum requirements for swimming and water safety.
Schools can choose between weekly 30-minute swimming lessons during term time or two-week intensive swimming courses designed to accelerate learning and skill development. Our lessons support swimmers of all abilities and focus on building confidence in the water while improving technique and water safety awareness.

Our large sports hall is available for school bookings, clubs and group activities. The space is highly versatile and can be set up for a wide range of sports and activities including badminton, netball, football, basketball, pickleball, table tennis and multi-sport sessions. The hall can accommodate up to six badminton courts at once and is ideal for school PE lessons, club training sessions, competitions and group sports events.
Our fitness studios provide an excellent space for dance classes, martial arts, yoga and other activity-based sessions. The studios are well suited to fitness classes, dance and performing arts groups, community activities and health and wellbeing sessions.
Schools and organised groups can access our fully equipped gym for structured fitness sessions and training. The gym includes a wide range of cardio equipment, resistance machines, free weights and functional training areas. Gym access can be arranged for supervised school groups or organised training sessions.
Our group cycle studio is available for schools, clubs and groups looking to run instructor-led indoor cycling sessions. This dedicated studio provides a motivating environment for group fitness training, team conditioning and school activity programmes.
