To mark the day Chelsea Sports Centre will be offering female members and non members the chance to take part in an additional Yoga class at 3pm, which can be booked via the Better app or online at https://www.better.org.uk/

With our Yoga class embrace the flow of natural body movements to develop strength, flexibility and a peaceful state of mind. From energetic routines to slow, serene sequences, Yoga classes balance movement and meditation to help you feel better inside and out.

Here at the Chelsea Sports Centre, we recognise all our wonderful female members of staff for their hardwork and dedication as a key part of our team.  Women are integral to the Centre, from the greeting you get when you walk through the door, to the swimming pool with lifeguards and swim teachers and all our wonderful Fitness Class instructors here at Chelsea Sports Centre.

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

International Women’s Day has occurred for well over a century, with the first International Women’s Day gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today International Women’s Day belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. It is not country, group or organization specific.

International Women's Day is celebrated annually on 8 March to mark the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women; to raise awareness of discrimination and bias; and to inspire and empower us all to take action for equality.
