The Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) is a programme which offers disabled people more choice and opportunities to enjoy the benefits of physical activity.

This intiative is designed to create a commitment across the fitness and leisure industry to achieve this high qualitity provision. It recognises the achievements of leisure facilities who enable disabled people to become physically active. The accreditation provides an inclusive platform for disabled and non-disabled people to be active together.

To achieve the accreditation, Kensington had to demostrate how the centre was encouraging greater physical activity levels amongst disabled people and individuals with health conditions by providing and promoting inclusive opportunities.

and accessible facilities and services, reducing inactivity rates amongst disabled people and individuals with health conditions, and how agendas aligned with and support current government and sector specific objectives in relation to physical and mental wellbeing, amongst other key items.
