Works funded by Richmond Council to create a new multi-purpose studio and refurbished toilets in the café area will be starting in the coming weeks.

As a charitable social enterprise, we’re committed to continually improving what we offer our local community as part of the Richmond Moves for a Healthier Borough Strategy. These works are part of a wider investment in the centre. Proposed improvements include:

• Refurbishment of the gym area and changing rooms
• Improvements to swimming pool area
• Sauna and steam provision

This first investment will help us create more flexible and welcoming spaces for all of the community to enjoy and consist of:

• A new multi-purpose studio to encourage greater activity for all
• Refurbished café toilets for a better customer experience and improved accessibility

These improvements will support the centre’s wider offer and make your visit to Pools on the Park even better.

• Works start: Monday 26th January

Café toilet refurbishment

• Works start: Monday 9th February

The café will remain open, but toilet access may be temporarily adjusted.

All works are planned to be completed before the end of March. We will keep you updated on this page of any changes to these dates.

We’ll do everything we can to minimise disruption while these improvements are underway. There may be some noise or temporary access changes, and we’ll clearly signpost any alternative routes or facilities in centre.
