East Manchester take the honours

On Saturday 7th October we held our first Senior Swim Gala. Teams from Arcadia, East Manchester and Hough End  Leisure Centre took part in 10 events at the Manchester Aquatics Centre followed by refreshments and a social.

  • Floatation Race (1 width using a kickboard)
  • 1 width Freestyle
  • 1 width Backstroke
  • 1 width Breaststroke
  • Floatation Race (2 widths using kickboard)
  • 25m Freestyle
  • 25m Backstroke
  • 25m Breaststroke
  • Relay of 6 lengths
  • Team Challenge
  • Centre Staff Race

 

Team East Manchester took the honours with Team Hough End in second place and Team Arcadia in third place. A huge well done to everybody who took part. We look forward to an even bigger event next year!
