We are making some changes here at Walker Activity Dome to make our programme even Better. Please see below everything you need to know from new opening times, new activity times and more.

New Opening Times

From week commencing 6th June 2022 we are extending our opening times. 

Monday to Thursday 2pm-9pm

Friday 9.30am-3pm

Saturday 8.30am-4pm

Sunday 8.30am-2pm

New Activity Times

• Football 3G bookings can now be booked all the way through to 4pm on a Saturday and 2pm on a Sunday! This makes it ideal if you run a Saturday or Sunday league team and looking for a home venue. We have changing rooms, fantastic football pitches including 11 a side, 7 a side and 5 a side. All football pitch bookings can be made through weplayfootball.net and remember all bookings on a Friday is 20% OFF!
• Racquet Sports have also benefited from new opening times as you can now book Badminton, Squash and Table Tennis at extra times during each day! All racuqet sport bookings are to be made either through the Better UK App or on our website following the 'Book now' option
• Toddlers World will have new and improved open times. This will run every Friday from 10am-2pm and every Saturday from 9am-12pm. ONLY £2 PER CHILD 
• Birthday parties are available to book for every Saturday. Parties include bounce and soft play, disco parties, multi sport parties and football parties. It's £95.00 per party! 
• Regular hire and room hire available during all opening hours - enquire at Walker.Leisure@GLL.org for more information 
• Our amazing main hall is available for venue hire with a maximum capacity of upto 2000 people! 

What's going on?

We currently have Tour De Moon in the building hosting events for various groups accross the city of Newcastle! Check out our Facebook page to see all the best photographs from this event! 

We are also continuing to work with various groups to bring the most exciting activities to Walker Activity Dome.
