Stanborough Park in Welwyn Garden City is home to a watersports centre where you can learn to sail, paddleboard and enjoy open water swimming in a beautiful lakeside setting. The centre runs watersports courses all week, with sailing and paddleboarding sessions proving particularly popular with families and school groups. There's also a free splash pad that's a hit with younger visitors on warm days, plus a play park and cafe on site. We offer birthday party packages and partner with Herts Disability Sports Foundation to make watersports accessible to more people. The park itself gives you plenty of space to relax before or after your session, and while parking is available, the site does get busy when the sun's out.
