Over £1,500 has been raised this October for Cancer Research UK.

Two fundraisers for Cancer Research UK have taken place this October across our Bath and North East Somerset partnership.

On Saturday 19th October, Charlotte Buttery led a nine person team at Keynsham Leisure Centre through a spin bike cycling challenge – riding the distance from Keynsham to London. The challenge was completed in three hours and has raised £425.

On Sunday 20th October, a two hour Glow Zumbathon took place at Bath Pavilion with 155 dancers raising over £1,075.

Sam Lanning, Bath’s CRUK Champion who organised the Zumbathon said “It was a great success and our customers and instructors exceeded our expectations. There was a real buzz during the whole event and we are so pleased we have raised over £1,000 to help beat cancer sooner".
