Join us on Wednesday 24th September as we celebrate National Fitness Day here at Girdwood Community Hub. This special day is all about inspiring people of every age, background, and ability to discover new ways to move, have fun, and feel great. Whether you’re already active or just taking the first steps on your fitness journey, this is the perfect opportunity to explore what we have to offer – and it’s completely free!

Bring along your friends, family, or colleagues and enjoy a wide variety of taster sessions, classes, and activities designed to motivate and energise. Our friendly and knowledgeable team will be on hand throughout the day to welcome you, answer questions, and guide you through all the opportunities leisure can bring to your lifestyle, health, and wellbeing.

National Fitness Day is not only about exercise – it’s about community, connection, and discovering that moving your body can be fun, social, and rewarding.

Extra Programme of Activities

We’ve put together an exciting timetable to showcase just some of the fantastic activities you can try at Girdwood:

Cardio Master Classes

  • Group Cycle: 9.15am–9.45am
  • Boxfit: 11am–11.30am
  • Gym Class (Cardio): 6pm–6.30pm

Strength & Conditioning Masterclass

  • HIIT: 10am–10.45am

Gym Taster Session

  • Gym Floor: 2.30pm-4pm
