Better Gym Belfast / Falls get their hat trick of trophies

GLL Belfast Society Event – Belfast Better Cup

On Friday the 5th of June, our programme of society events continued with the 5th annual Better Cup, organised and hosted by the team at Avoniel.
The event was the biggest year yet, with this year's tournament attracting over 80 participants made up of 12 teams from across the partnership, including an all female team and a team from the Valley Leisure Centre (Antrim & Newtownabbey Council). 
The tournament culminated in a final between Falls Leisure Centre/Better Gym Belfast team V Olympia LC, with Falls/BGB team prevailing to win the trophy for the 3rd year in a row. 

A society information desk was also set up at the event, informing on upcoming society events and sign up process.
The event is now a well established favourite with staff and we look forward to an even bigger 2027 tournament.
