Pickleball Group Sessions

We offer pickleball group sessions, supervised by our Pickleball England Instructors. These sessions are great to learn more about pickleball, get active and socialise with like minded people.

Pickleball takes place on our Indoor Tennis courts using existing badminton courts but with a net similar in height to a tennis net.

Adult Social Pickleball (Supervised session) - Wednesday 6pm & Friday 6pm

All equipment is provided.

Members and Non Members alike are welcome to get involved!

Sessions can be booked online or on the app (Search Adult Group Sessions)

It is suggested that you attend one of our coaching courses first, to learn the basics.

Pickleball Court Hire

At Bodmin Leisure Centre we offer bookable Pickleball courts for you to bring others with you.

Pickleball Paddles and Balls can be hired at Reception for £3.50 (Don't forget we are a cashless centre).

Pickleball Coaching - Short Courses

Our 4 week short courses are designed for adults that would like coaching and learn the various Pickleball techniques and tactics. These courses offer good coach / participant ratios and the focus is on the needs of the group. Sessions will test your abilities with games based coaching drills.

Our coaching sessions are run by our Pickleball England Level 1 Club Instructors.

Adult Pickleball Coaching

Thursday 5th February 6pm - 7pm £37.60

Saturday 7th February 9am - 10am £37.60

Ready to take your pickleball skills to the next level? This 4-week Adult course is perfect for players with play experience who are eager to refine their shot execution, improve strategy, and boost confidence on the court.

What You’ll Learn:

Consistent Shots: Improve your dinks, volleys, drives, and third-shot drops for greater accuracy and control.
Court Awareness: Understand positioning basics, and shot selection
Effective Teamwork: Sharpen your doubles strategy and learn how to communicate effectively with your partner.
Game Play Confidence: Practice with guided drills and match simulations designed to apply your new skills.

Pickleball Doubles Competition

Bodmin Leisure Centre are hosting a series of Doubles events, which will accumulate to a grand final. Points will be awared for each match won on the night

Sign up with a partner £10.00 per player.

Places are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis.

Come and join us at Bodmin Leisure Centre to celebrate World Pickleball Day. We are hosting a free taster session for those wanting to try pickleball for the first time.

Pickleball Masterclass

Pickleball Doubles Masterclass March 2025 

Dominate the 2025 tournaments with coaching from European champion Richard love. Richard will be delivering coaching sessions on Tuesday 11th March.

Richard is top 5 DUPR rated player, 2024 European Doubles Gold medalist, Reigning European and National Doubles champion, Represents Team England, IPTPA Pickleball Coach & Tutor.

Booking is essential for all sessions. The masterclass sessions are for players regularly playing, with solid knowledge of the game.
