We are pleased to say that our a new Disability Football Hub, sessions have started at Bodmin Leisure Centre.

We have been working with the Cornwall Football Assoication to develop football opportunities across a number of our leisure centres over the last 3 years. Developing disability football, walking football, social women's football, has increased offers at our centres with success. Now we have an opportunity to develop another disability football activity, and excited to announce that sessions are about to start.

Our sessions run Tuesday's 21st April 2.00pm-3.00pm.

A weekly session delivered by qualified football coaches under Brandon Trust. We are encouraging those with Pan Disabilities, learning or sensory disabilities, to come along and enjoy the game of football.

We have achieved success in St Austell Leisure Centre, with this partnership with Cornwall FA and Brandon Trust, and feel that we can expand the offer here in Bodmin.

Brandon Trust, and Rory Jarvis, leads up this development and discribes the trust as a support organisation that enables people with learning disabilities and autistic people, to live life the way they choose. He says, "We've had such a great response in St Austell, and interest in setting up in Bodmin. Our partnership with Better and Cornwall FA has had a positive impact on our clients."

Chloe Harris - Cornwall FA Women, Girls & Disability Football Development Officer, says, "Cornwall believe in flexible, inclusive and accessible playing opportunities for everyone, and are committed to delivering a range of opportunities for players with a disability to access football at various levels across the county."
