We are bringing Bike MOT Days and Ride Outs back to our Better Centres this year!

Last year we ran the BEAT Project with The Cornwall Bicycle Project and we’re working with Emma and her team again to give local people access to mechanics and ride leaders.

We are looking to encourage everyone, children, adults, families to get out and about more. Active travelling, cycling, scooting and walking can support people to improve both physical and mental wellbeing. Our BEAT project last year built the foundations to more people taking to their bikes and scooters.

Building on this, our Community Sport Officer, Steve Latham - now a Cycling UK Ride Leader - will be supporting The Cornwall Bicycle Project ride leaders to lead a local ride from the centre on the 19th May.

All events are free and open to everyone (no age or postcode restrictions). Funded by Big Bike Revival, each event includes bike repair sessions followed by a group ride.
