We’re delighted to share that New Addington Leisure & Community Centre, in partnership with The Felix Project, will be delivering our second Fresh Food Giveaway on Thursday, 9th October, from 12pm–2pm.

Local residents will again be able to pick up a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables — from staples such as potatoes, carrots and onions to seasonal apples, greens and more. In total, an estimated eight tons of produce will be available for the community to take home, free of charge.

This community event builds on the success of our first Felix Fresh event in August and of course the recent Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) summer programme, which supported over 400 children through fun activities and nutritious meals. 

The Fresh Food Giveaway is a great opportunity for local families to stock up on healthy, fresh food and enjoy the benefits of nutritious eating without the extra cost.

Everyone is welcome — just bring your bags, boxes or trolleys and help yourself to some delicious fresh produce.
