The Heat Is Back: Sauna & Steam Room Reopening at Edmonton Leisure Centre
We’re delighted to share some warming news to kick off the new year!
The sauna and steam room at Edmonton Leisure Centre will officially reopen from Wednesday, 21st January 2026, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back.
After time away, these much-loved facilities are ready once again to help you relax, recharge, and recover. Whether you’re easing tired muscles after a workout, carving out some well-deserved me time, or simply chasing that deep sense of calm only heat therapy can bring, the sauna and steam room are here for you.
For those new to these wellness experiences, a sauna is a heated room designed to promote sweating, helping to relax muscles, improve circulation, and reduce stress. A steam room, on the other hand, uses moist heat to create a humid environment that can open pores, ease respiratory tension, and leave you feeling refreshed and revitalised.
