At Britannia Leisure Centre we're very pleased to invite local older adults to a Seniors Open Day on Tuesday 21st April, showcasing a wide range of activities designed to support wellbeing and social connection.

The Open Day is in place to promote the expansion of our senior programme following this date, responding to growing demand for the programme.

Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to try a variety of sessions at their own pace. Friendly and experienced instructors will be on hand to guide sessions and answer questions, making it ideal both for those new to exercise and for regular attendees.

The programme includes low‑impact activities such as chair yoga and aerobics, alongside social sports including walking netball, badminton, pickleball and short tennis. There will also be opportunities to experience a guided gym session, enjoy the pool and relax in the sauna and steam room. Refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon, providing a chance to chat with fellow participants and find out more about regular classes available after the Open Day.

This is a fantastic opportunity to explore what Britannia Leisure Centre has to offer, try something new. All activities are designed with older adults in mind, and everyone is welcome.

You don't need to book in advance, just turn up on the day and sign up to the activities!
