On Sunday 20th March, a team of 10 gymnasts from Sobell Trampoline Club made the trip to Redbridge Sports Centre to compete in the London Club & Challenge Cup Qualifier 1. Sobell trampoline club put on a fantastic display with a number of top 2 finishes. This puts them in a great position for the second qualifier which will take place in May; this will determine who will go through to represent London in the Inter-Region competition in Sheffield. It is a tough competition with only the top 2 in each category progressing.

Ebony McKenzie, lead coach said “I’m very proud of the team, they worked really hard however no rest for George, Kye and Korben who have the English Championships next month!”

Trampoline is one of the most exciting sports there is. As gymnasts improve they can learn to jump higher, perform aerial tricks and maintain rhythm. Sobell Leisure Centre run trampoline sessions for a variety of ages and abilities on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. You can book a spot online here. Sessions are run in a friendly environment and delivered by qualified coaches.

Alternatively, you can have a jump and burn off energy at the Sobell trampoline park. You'll find a huge main jump arena with unique features. Master those acrobatic tricks with lots of cool things to try out, including battle beams, wipeout, foam pits, dodgeball and more.  To find out more and to book, please visit:
