This week, Live Well Newham celebrates its first anniversary in the London Borough of Newham. To mark the occasion, the Live Well Team hosted a Community Health Event, recognising and celebrating individuals who have successfully completed a programme as well as showcasing the wider support available across Newham through collaborations with Nutrition Kitchen, Well Newham, Barts Health NHS Trust Liver Screening Team, Social Prescribing and our GLL Community Team; highlighting the strength of partnership working and the breadth of services supporting our community.

The community event was well attended with local residents engaging with free blood pressure checks, a badminton session and a cook and eat session delivered by Nutrition Kitchen. Residents were also able to access additional support from Well Newham such as job support and paying bills, and advice on liver health from the team at Barts Health NHS.
