Residents in Richmond now have even more opportunities to get active, as new fitness classes are being introduced at Pools on the Park and Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre this June.

At Pools on the Park, a brand-new Aerobics Basics class will begin on Monday 22nd June, running from 2.35pm to 3.20pm. Designed with accessibility in mind, the session is ideal for beginners, older adults, or anyone returning to exercise after a break. The class focuses on simple movements and lower-intensity options, making it adaptable to a wide range of fitness levels. With an emphasis on enjoyment and social interaction, participants are encouraged to build confidence while having fun and staying active.

Meanwhile, Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre is expanding its evening offer with the launch of a new Body Conditioning class on Thursday 18th June from 8.00pm to 9.00pm. This full-body workout focuses on high-repetition, strength-based exercises using equipment such as body bars, barbells, dumbbells, and bodyweight movements. It’s a great option for those looking to build strength and improve overall fitness in a structured class environment.

Both sessions are now available to book via the Better UK platform. Customers can create a free online account through the Better UK app or via the Better UK website and then select “Fitness Classes” to secure their place.

These new additions reflect an ongoing commitment to providing inclusive, varied, and accessible opportunities for residents to stay active and healthy across Richmond.
