We are currently investing £2.3millon into developing the south building tennis courts and junior lounge area into a brand new Trampoline & Play park and nursery facility, Better Coffee Corner, plus other smaller refurbishments.

REFURBISHMENT BREAKDOWN

The overall development plan includes:-

• Tennis courts 1, 2 and 3 have is now home to our trampoline & play park hall.  The old junior lounge and office space has been transformed into a new reception area for easy access to both the Trampoline & Play Park and on-site nursery. 
• The wall between old tennis courts 1, 2 and 3 and the gymnastics hall has been removed to open up the area to a section of the trampoline park.
• Studio's 1 & 2 have been developed into 4 new party rooms and viewing area for the Trampoline Park and Gymnastics arena.
• The cafe area has been expanded and has had a new look and feel introduced into the area. 
• New Entrance and foyer area has been created for the South Building and is the new entrance for the Trampoline & Play Park and Nursery.
• The old changing rooms in the South Building have converted into brand new toilet facilities and the trampoline & play park safety briefing room. 
• Sutton Sports Village will be introducing a new Toddler room to the existing Nursery provision. This part of the project will also see works completed to make the Nursery a self contained environment.

To replace the 3 indoor Tennis Courts in the South Building we will be covering 4 existing Clay courts with a tennis dome, increasing our indoor provision from 9 courts to 10 courts. This will give us increased year round utilisation on courts and further programme opportunities.

• Phase 2 will commence upon approval of the planning permission, this will see our preferred contracted beginning there off site dome construction.
• Phase 3 will be timed for the dome to be installed at the end of the outdoor season giving us direct transition from outdoor courts to indoor courts.
