Manchester Junior Triathlon at Hough End Leisure Centre

Hough End Leisure Centre was pleased to welcome the Manchester Triathlon Club, Junior Triathlon on Monday 31st August, 2026.

No matter the weather, the young athletes showed great determination and enthusiasm as they took on the challenge of swimming, cycling and running their way through the triathlon.

133 triathletes signed up for the Junior Triathlon event and it was brilliant to see so many juniors taking part and giving their best throughout the day, with families and supporters helping to create a fantastic atmosphere at the centre.

The event was organised by Manchester Triathlon Club, and we were delighted to provide the facilities for the Manchester Junior Triathlon and support a great opportunity for young people to get active and take on a new challenge.

A huge well done to all the juniors who completed the triathlon — you should all be very proud of your achievement!
