Creating Effective Generations Community Day at Moss Side Leisure Centre!

CEG proudly hosted our first 2026 “A Sense of Place” Community Outreach Day on Friday 20th February at Moss Side Leisure Centre, building on the incredible success of last year’s events. Running from 11:00am to 3:00pm, the day brought together young people, families, professionals and community partners for a vibrant and empowering experience centred around belonging, safety and opportunity.

A standout moment of the day was the dynamic self-defence session delivered by Josh and Joel from Ji Martial Arts. Young people were fully engaged as they learned
practical techniques, confidence-building strategies, and the importance of discipline and self-control.
