Can I bring umbrellas, deck chairs, snorkels or inflatables?
Because each outdoor pool is different, what’s allowed can vary. Please check below for venue-specific guidance on bringing umbrellas, shade items, floats, snorkels, and inflatables:
Charlton Lido & Lifestyle Club
Umbrellas, deck chairs, and large inflatables are not permitted. Small floats are allowed.
Finchley Lido Leisure Centre
Umbrellas, deck chairs, and large inflatables are not permitted.
Hillingdon Sports & Leisure Complex
You’re welcome to bring umbrellas, shade screens, inflatables, snorkels, floats, and water aids, as long as they’re a sensible size and there’s space.
Jesus Green Lido
Umbrellas, shade screens, and inflatables are allowed if not too large and space allows. Snorkels are only allowed for medical reasons and must be approved by management.
London Fields Lido

Oasis Sports Centre
Umbrellas, deck chairs, and large inflatables are not permitted.
Riverside Park & Pools
Umbrellas, shade screens, beach balls, rings, floats, and water aids are allowed if space allows.
Snorkels (training type only) are permitted during Swim for Fitness sessions. Full-face snorkel masks (sea-style goggles that cover the nose) are not permitted.
Stanborough Park Water Sports Centre
Umbrellas, deck chairs, and large inflatables are not permitted.
