Water temperature varies by venue and season. While some outdoor pools are heated, others are unheated and temperatures can change depending on the weather.

Charlton Lido and Lifestyle Club
The pool is heated to around 22°C, although the temperature may vary depending on weather conditions.

Finchley Lido Leisure Centre
The pool is unheated. During warmer weather, temperatures can reach around 25°C.

Hillingdon Sports & Leisure Complex
The main lido pool is unheated. A smaller pool is heated to approximately 25°C during the summer months. Wetsuits are strongly recommended during colder weather.

Jesus Green Lido
The pool is unheated and water temperature varies throughout the season.

Lee Valley White Water Centre
Open water swimming takes place during the spring and summer seasons, with no minimum water temperature.

London Fields Lido
The pool is heated to around 24°C, although the temperature may vary depending on weather conditions.

Oasis Sports Centre
The pool is heated to around 25°C, although weather conditions may affect the temperature.

Riverside Park and Pools
The pool is heated to around 25°C, although weather conditions may affect the temperature.

Stanborough Park Water Sports Centre
Open water swimming takes place during the spring and summer seasons, with no minimum water temperature.

West Reservoir Centre
Open water swimming is available year-round, with no minimum water temperature. Daily temperature updates are available on Instagram (@westreservoirN4) and X (@westreservoir).

We aim to maintain the outdoor pool at a minimum temperature of 25°C. Water temperatures may increase during warmer weather.

Debdale Outdoor Centre
Daily water temperature updates are displayed on the safety board before entering the water.

Wycombe Rye Lido & Gym
