Can I hire a wetsuit? Do I need to wear one?

Wetsuit policies vary depending on the venue and water temperature. Please see below for details specific to outdoor swimming at Jesus Green Lido, Lee Valley White Water Centre and West Reservoir Centre.

Wetsuit requirements: Wetsuits are optional, but strongly recommended below 14°C.

Lee Valley White Water Centre
Wetsuit hire: Not available at this time.
Wetsuit requirements: Wetsuits are optional, but strongly recommended below 14°C. Tow floats are mandatory for all swimmers, regardless of wetsuit use. Don't have a tow float? One will be provided for use at the entry point.

Stanborough Park Water Sports Centre
Wetsuits are not compulsory but are advisable in colder temperatures. If you choose to wear a wetsuit you will need to supply your own, suitable for swimming.

West Reservoir Centre
Wetsuit hire: Currently not available.
Wetsuit requirements: Wetsuits are optional, but strongly recommended below 14°C.
Tow floats are mandatory for all swimmers, regardless of wetsuit use. Don’t have a tow float? One will be provided for use at the entry point.
