Is there is anything else I need to bring?
Just bring the essentials: swimwear, towel, and water bottle. We recommend reviewing our Swim Safety Rules before your visit for guidance on what to wear and general safety tips: https://www.better.org.uk/lp/swim-safety-rules.
Venue-specific tips:
Hillingdon Sports & Leisure Complex
If you're swimming during colder weather, we recommend bringing a hot drink to help you warm up after your swim. Hot drinks are available to purchase from the on-site café.
Jesus Green Lido
If you're swimming during colder weather, we recommend bringing a hot drink to help you warm up after your swim. Hot drinks are available to purchase from the on-site café.
West Reservoir Centre
We recommend travelling light and bringing only the essentials, such as a towel and water bottle, as changing facilities may not always be available. A red swimming cap is required for all swimmers and can be purchased on site using contactless payment. If you're visiting during colder weather, a hot drink is also recommended after your swim.
Pools on the Park
You are welcome to bring flip-flops to wear around the poolside area.
Debdale Outdoor Centre
We recommend bringing a tow float and a brightly coloured swim hat for your swim.
Wycombe Rye Lido & Gym
Whether you're visiting for a swim, gym workout, class or sauna session, we recommend bringing a water bottle and a small towel.
