This summer at Barking Sporthouse and Gym, we’re proud to continue supporting our local community in staying active, healthy, and connected through sport and fitness.

As the days get longer and people look for ways to improve their wellbeing, we’re encouraging residents of all ages and abilities to make the most of everything our centre has to offer. Whether someone is starting their fitness journey, returning to exercise, or looking to try something new, we want everyone to feel welcome and supported.

Our modern gym facilities, group exercise classes, and community sports activities provide opportunities for people to stay motivated and active throughout the summer months. From strength and conditioning and HIIT classes to yoga, cycling, and functional fitness sessions, we offer a wide variety of activities designed to help members achieve their personal health and fitness goals.

Alongside our regular fitness programme, we’ll also be promoting seasonal activities and community-focused sessions aimed at keeping young people, families, and beginners engaged over the summer. We know that physical activity plays an important role not only in improving fitness, but also in boosting confidence, mental wellbeing, and social connection.
