After three months of extensive reconstruction and staff training, Barking Sporthouse & Gym is ready to welcome the community back with the launch of its brand-new Multi-Zone Activity Area, opening to the public on Saturday 18th April at 1pm.

The much-loved trampoline park, which closed in January, has undergone a complete transformation to create a vibrant, modern activity space designed to deliver even more variety, excitement, and inclusive fun for children young people & families. The new multi-zone concept introduces a range of interactive challenge areas, combining physical activity with engaging play experiences to suit a wide range of ages and abilities.

During the closure period, the £1.3 million investment has gone into reimagining the space, alongside comprehensive training for the centre’s team to ensure the highest standards of safety, customer experience, and session delivery. The result is a dynamic environment where visitors can stay active, build confidence, and enjoy a unique leisure experience in the heart of Barking and Dagenham.

The General Manager for Barking Sporthouse & Gym said:

“We’re incredibly proud of the transformation and excited to finally welcome everyone back. The new Multi-Zone Activity Area offers something completely fresh for our community. After months of hard work behind the scenes, we’re confident this will be a fantastic space for young people to have fun, stay active, and try new challenges in a safe and supportive setting.”

Visitors are reminded that all sessions need to be pre-booked to secure their sessions in advance by booking via the Better UK app or through the Barking Sporthouse & Gym website https://bookings.better.org.uk/location/barking-sporthouse-and-gym ensuring quick and easy access to this highly anticipated new experience.
