We’re delighted to share that New Addington Leisure & Community Centre, in partnership with The Felix Project, will be hosting a Fresh Food Giveaway on Thursday, 28th August, from 12pm–2pm.

On the day, local residents can pick up a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables — from staples like potatoes, carrots and onions to seasonal apples, greens and more. In total, an amazing eight tons of produce will be available for the community to take home, free of charge.

This community event builds on the success of our recent Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) summer programme, which supported over 400 children through fun activities and nutritious meals. 

The Fresh Food Giveaway is a great opportunity for local families to stock up on healthy, fresh food and enjoy the benefits of nutritious eating without the extra cost.

Everyone is welcome — just bring your bags, boxes or trolleys and help yourself to some delicious fresh produce.
