Young@Heart Senior Activities

Are you 55 or over? Want to take some first steps towards being more active, but not sure where or how to start?

Here at Botwell Green Sports and Leisure Centre we really enjoy helping others achieve their goals by keeping them motivated and inspired to get active. Our sessions are designed to keep you fit and active, we also provide a great opportunity to socialise and meet new friends. Why not take advantage of our supervised studio sessions or have a go at variety of sports. All is aimed at getting you out of the house, having fun and keeping healthy at the same time. You'll receive great support from our professional and friendly staff that will help you achieve your best.

Young @ Heart

The (Club) Young @ Heart sessions in Hayes are now a regular fixture at Botwell Green Sports Centre and have a weekly Social, Sports & Fitness programme. You are bound to find an activity you’ll enjoy.

We'd recommend the Club membership to anyone who is thinking about getting in to a regular active lifestyle no matter what your circumstance. It’s not just good for your health, it’s also a great way to meet new people with similar goals. Yoga
Traditional class that combines posture and relaxation of the mind designed to strengthen the body. Adapted for older adults.

Water workout
Invigorating swimming pool workout that allows you to exercise without excess pressure on the joints. Adapted for older adults.

Young @ heart games
A mixture of badminton, table tennis, short tennis, darts and short matt bowls in our state of the art sports hall.

Young @ heart aerobics
High and low aerobic moves designed to get the heart pumping in a fun enviroment. Adapted for older adults.

General swimming & sauna
Casual usage of our swimming & sauna facilities available seven days a week.

Fitness rooms
Usage of the two fitness rooms with state of the art cardio & resistance equipment seven days a week (induction required).

Club Games

We also enter a team in the Club Games which is an annual team event held by GLL for all our Better Partnerships to compete in a wide range of sporting events.
