Olivia D’Souza - Celebrating her 70th Attendance and Counting at the Peter May SC.

Olivia is a multi-talented young sports woman who, in addition to being the opening bowler for North London Cricket Club Women’s 1st XI, trains twice weekly at her judo club and plays netball in the local league. Olivia will be playing for Middlesex u18s in the coming season. Olivia is a budding star and a sporting all-rounder.

When aged 11 and already a Middlesex County Age Group player Olivia started training individually at the PMC in the winter of 2017. Now back at the Peter May Sports Centre, returning after the pandemic lockdown, Olivia notched up her 70th session during the half-term break in February when she trained daily at the centre. Olivia now 16, with her coach at Peter May Sports Centre, has been invited to train with the centre’s stalwarts: New Calypsonians Cricket Club.

New Calypsonians Cricket Club are a talented and friendly group of cricketers who have witnessed Olivia’s progress over the past winters in the adjacent nets. In winter 2021 Olivia has enjoyed the challenge of bowling to some of their talented batters. Olivia intends to continue her involvement with Peter May Sports Centre by training on her own and with New Calypsonians. The team wish Olivia all the successes that comes her way, and everyone is excited as the outdoor cricket season commences

Keep up the good work up Olivia, we look ahead to welcoming you back to the cricket nets.
