Summer of Fun 2026: A huge thank you from Manchester Aquatics Centre

As the summer holidays come to an end, we’re taking a moment to look back on what has been a fantastic Summer of Fun 2026 at Manchester Aquatics Centre.

From busy pool sessions and family activities to holiday camps, diving, Aqua Splash and plenty of fun in the water, it has been a brilliant few weeks filled with energy, laughter and lots of happy faces.

But what really makes Manchester Aquatics Centre special is the people and this summer has been a wonderful reminder of that.

Whether you came along for a swim, brought the family to one of our activities, joined a holiday camp, tried something new or simply enjoyed spending time with us, we’re incredibly grateful for your support.

It has been fantastic to see so many families making memories together and enjoying everything the centre has to offer. Your smiles, enthusiasm and positive feedback have helped make Summer of Fun 2026 one to remember.

From our lifeguards and swimming teachers to reception, cleaning, fitness, activity and management teams, so many people have worked behind the scenes to make the summer run smoothly.

The summer holidays can be one of the busiest times of the year in a leisure centre, and our staff have continued to give their time, energy and dedication every day, helping customers, keeping everyone safe, delivering activities and making sure Manchester Aquatics Centre remains a welcoming place for everyone.

We couldn’t have delivered such a successful Summer of Fun without every single member of the team.

What a summer!
Summer of Fun 2026 has been about much more than swimming. It has been about community, activity, trying new things and spending time together.

As we say goodbye to the summer holidays, we want to say one final THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of it, our customers, families, children, visitors, partners and, of course, our fantastic staff.

You have all played a part in making this summer special.

More fun is on the way!
And while we’re saying goodbye to the summer holidays, the fun doesn’t stop here!

We’ll be back in October with even more half-term fun at Manchester Aquatics Centre. Our popular holiday camps will be returning, giving children another opportunity to stay active, make new friends and have plenty of fun during the school break.

Spaces for our October holiday camps will be going live soon, so keep an eye out and get ready to book via our app or our website!
