Jack, a 23-year-old dirt bike racer from Lincolnshire, has spent the past decade racing primarily for enjoyment alongside his father, Jack’s passion has steadily developed into a competitive career at national and international level. Over the last two seasons (2025 and 2026), he has competed in both British and World Championship events, riding a sponsored Triumph TF450 for Dick Shepherd Triumph.

Despite benefiting from a sponsored ride, Jack has experienced first-hand the financial challenges that come with elite-level motorsport, particularly around bike development and testing.

“Although I’ve had great support from Triumph, the reality of developing and testing at this level can place a big strain on the race budget,” Jack explained.
Support from the GLL Sport Foundation has played a vital role in helping Jack continue to progress. As the UK’s largest independent athlete support programme, the Foundation provides funding, training access, and athlete development opportunities to aspiring sportspeople across the UK.

Jack credits the programme as a key contributor to his recent progress:

“I am really grateful and proud to be supported by the GLL Sport Foundation. I train very hard for my career in dirt bike racing, and the support has made a huge difference. It allows me to train across the UK and access opportunities I wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford.”
With increased access to training and preparation, Jack has been able to elevate his performance as he targets further success in 2026

“My training and preparation have stepped up significantly, which makes me feel confident heading into the 2026 World Championship,” he added.
Jack’s journey highlights the impact of the GLL Sport Foundation in helping athletes overcome financial barriers and realise their potential on both national and international stages.

As he prepares for his upcoming World Championship campaign and his move into professional racing in 2027, Jack is a shining example of determination, talent and the power of support through sport.
