Move with confidence: Senior-friendly classes at Prestwood Gym

At Prestwood Gym, we believe that fitness is for every age and every stage. Our weekly schedule is thoughtfully designed to support the health, mobility, and wellbeing of our senior members. Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve balance, or simply enjoy gentle movement in a friendly setting, we’ve got a class for you.

Monday: A gentle start to the week

• Yoga (9–10am): Ease into your week with mindful movement and deep stretches to support flexibility and calm.
• Strength Basics (11–11.45am): A low-impact class focused on building foundational strength and stability.
• Pilates (12–1pm & 1–2pm): Core-focused sessions to enhance posture, balance, and joint health.

Tuesday: Strength and Stability

• Yoga (9–10am): A peaceful practice to awaken the body and mind.
• LBT – Legs, Bums & Tums (11–11.45am): A fun, low-impact workout to tone key areas and boost endurance.
• Pilates (12.15–1.15pm & 1.30–2.30pm): Two midday sessions to suit your schedule and support your core.

Wednesday: Midweek bobility boost 

• Pilates (9.30–10.30am): Start your day with gentle strength and stretch.
• T’ai Chi (10.30–11.30am & 11.40–12.40pm): Flowing movements to improve balance, coordination, and inner calm.
• Aerobics (12.45–1.45pm & 1.45–2.45pm): Light cardio to lift your heart rate and your spirits.
• Pilates (2.45–3.45pm), Yoga (5–6pm), Pilates (6.15–7.15pm): Evening options for those who prefer a later rhythm.

Thursday: Strengthen and shine

• Strength Basics (9–9.45am): A supportive class to help you stay strong and steady.

Friday: Finish the week with focus

• Pilates (12–1pm): A midday session to stretch, strengthen, and set the tone for a restful weekend.
